Accessibility.
Our target, what we tested, and what is still missing.

Our aim
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion. Our working target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is a target we test against, not a claim that every page meets it today, and no automated tool can certify it.
What we have checked
Before launch we ran an automated check (axe-core) on each page type and walked each page with the keyboard alone. We reviewed the layout at desktop, tablet and phone widths and at narrow reflow widths, and with reduced motion switched on. The cookie notice and settings are built so they can be reached and used by keyboard, with visible focus and labelled controls.
TODO Replace this paragraph with the dated, specific result of the final test pass (docs/launch/accessibility.md) once the site is approved for launch.
Known gaps
- The example films have no captions or transcripts. They are demonstrations of our work. This is a known gap, and it has not been assessed film by film for which carry speech.
- In the video player, the keyboard moves between the close button, the arrows and the video. Keyboard users can play and pause and change volume. Seeking inside a film with the keyboard is not available yet.
- The background film at the top of the home page is decorative, has no sound unless you turn it on, and does not play if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The booking platform at book.luxurylistingmedia.com is run by a separate provider. We have not tested it and this statement does not cover it.
- We have not yet tested with every screen reader, or in Safari on a Mac or on a range of real phones.

TODO State how quickly the team will respond to an accessibility report, and name who is responsible for fixing issues. No approved commitment is on record, so none is made here.
